Had a wonderful easter vacation with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were cozy with beautiful views overlooking the town and the sea. Enjoyed the stunning roof terrace which was perfect for relaxing with an afternoon drink. Hired a knowledgeable guide from the hotel for day excursions who gave us a truly unique and authentic experience of the local area.
Although breakfast was basic, it did not live up to our expectations, with limited options and food that was not always fresh. The absence of a pool or gym was a bit of a negative point for us.

1.) rooms: Hotel El Jebel is a boutique hotel and a lot of care and attention has gone into the decor. Rooms have been beautifully decorated, and are very clean. 2.) STAFF The staff were friendly, and not pretentious... this was great, as luxury hotels can sometimes mean staff carry their nose in the air. Located in the heart of Taoromina shopping Corso. 3.) RESTAURAT: We had dinner at the restaurant on the roof terrace, perfect setting.
There were only 2 downsides to this hotel worth noting; 1.) PARKING: I read the reviews before I booked so was aware that the hotel was poorly sign-posted and there was no parking on site. I can't emphasise enough, if you plan to drive... call the hotel first and get advice where to park... otherwise you will be stuck on the one way route around the hotel and could take 2-3 laps before you lose the will to live! 2.) PARADISE BEACH: We were warned Sunday's were busy... but for a hotel that prides itself in no children, the beach was full of screaming children. Not to mention the jelly fish!

This hotel was perfect in all areas! We loved the location in the center of the city, near the nightlife, and just a short walk to the sea via the cable car. The staff was amazing and provided exceptional service. The breakfast was lovely and there were many options to choose from. The hotel facilities were clean and top-notch.
Nothing not too like.

The decor of the rooms, and indeed the whole hotel, was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the food was excellent. The roof terrace was divine!
It's a shame there was nowhere other than the roof terrance to just sit and enjoy the sun and the views. In the daytime when we went up there, there were no cushions on the chairs and no real sign that we this was a place we could just sit and read or sunbathe. In the evening most of the area was taken up by dining tables and was so well geared for just sitting and having a quiet drink. The bed mattresses were too firm!

Excellent location, friendliness of staff, connection to the main attractions of the village and shuttle to the beach. Interesting design, space of the room - there is a lot of positive things about this hotel.
Would be good to add SPA in the hotel. Quality and diversity of choice in breakfast, speed and comprehension of the waiters in the restaurant while having breakfast.
